Ballsome is a combination of several things. The name itself comes from a particularly messed up senior trip undertaken by the Ballsome staff and friends. Thinking in our senioritis-filled heads that climbing a mountain would be fun, we went through a grueling three-day trek through backwoods, mud, and blisters. All was redeemed, however, when we reached the summit and looked out onto one of the best views our young eyes had ever seen. Things that took balls and turned out awesome were dubbed "Ballsome" (which was weird since the mountain was also named Balsam). Ballsome is sweating for the big payoff, and taking every victory as one more step up that ladder to the summit. That�s what Ballsome means in a nutshell, and if anyone tells you otherwise, let us know and we'll kick their ass.
